MPG = Miles Driven / Gallons Used
Fill your tank completely, reset the trip odometer, drive normally, then fill up again. Divide miles driven by gallons to fill = your MPG.
For 2026 vehicles: 25-30 MPG is average, 30-40 MPG is good, 40-60 MPG is excellent (hybrids). EVs are measured in MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent).
Maintain proper tire pressure, drive at moderate speeds (55-65 mph is optimal), avoid rapid acceleration, remove excess weight, and keep up with regular maintenance.
